How long each finish lasts in Las Vegas

FinishLifespan claims (Paragon Pools[2])
White plaster5–7 years; replaster "every 5–8 years for standard plaster".
Quartz aggregate10–12 years.
Pebble (Pebble Tec, Pebble Sheen)15–20 years.

Paragon says most Las Vegas pools show etching, staining or roughness "within 5–8 years of the last plaster job" and recommends upgraded finishes because of the hard water and sun[2]. PoolPad's Las Vegas page gives longer figures, 10–15 years for white plaster and 15–20+ for pebble[1]. Treat all of these as company and directory claims.
